How do we find Melbourne events for a September visit?

For weather-dependent activities such as ballooning, ask about seasonal operation and cancellation terms before fitting them into a fixed itinerary.

Look beyond one event type: theatre, live music, markets and exhibitions can give you an evening plan if a match is unavailable.

Check each organiser's current September calendar rather than assuming a regular weekly schedule; sport fixtures change with finals.
