How should we pace four nights on the Great Ocean Road toward Adelaide?

The scenic road is slower than the inland highway, especially when you stop at lookouts. Keep daylight for the coast and avoid building a tight arrival time around photo stops.

Do not use every night as a one-stop transfer. Lorne or Apollo Bay, the western coast and a later inland or South Australian stop can give you time to enjoy each area.
