Is two and a half hours enough to change Melbourne Airport terminals with checked bags?

My domestic flight arrives at Terminal 3 and my international flight leaves Terminal 2. I need to collect and check in luggage again.

    Ask both airlines whether the bags can be checked through and whether the flights are on one protected booking. Collecting bags and meeting an international check-in cutoff can consume most of a short connection.
