    Compare the evening restaurant walk from each candidate, not only the daytime sightseeing route.

    Choose by the exact hotel entrance and the sights you will visit most, then test the walking route and nearby tram stops. A central location is useful, but a 'one-kilometre' map radius can still involve tiring crossings.
