Can I use one contactless payment method on Melbourne buses, trams and trains?

I plan to use the airport-area bus, change to a train and later ride city trams.

Check Public Transport Victoria's current payment page for each mode just before travelling. The contactless rollout has been staged, so a method accepted at one reader may not cover every bus or tram yet.
