How should a solo visitor choose between a Carlton hotel and a CBD apartment hotel?

I value a quiet room but also need to attend CBD appointments and would enjoy a comfortable neighbourhood.

Map the exact walk or tram journey to your appointments, including the late return. Carlton can be convenient without being on the same street as a CBD venue.
