About True South

Set in a converted 1930s auto garage, True South delivers bold Argentine grilling right against the Port Phillip Bay shoreline. Exposed rafters and broad bay windows set an easy coastal cadence downstairs—especially when the afternoon crowd rolls in for cold pints or a sharp Negroni. Tables quickly pile high with warm chipas alongside whipped goat's curd, kingfish tacos, and flaky empanadas. Up above, the dedicated Bay View room takes in sweeping sunsets across the water, making milestone celebrations feel completely effortless while platters of grilled porterhouse and barramundi circulate through the room.
