About Figlia

Brunswick East has plenty of pizza, but Figlia plays a different game on Lygon Street. Run by the crew behind Tipo 00, the kitchen skips floppy crusts for sourdough with blistered lift at the cornicione. Tables in the know bypass the basics—pairing octopus skewers with pies topped with yellow tomatoes or mussels. Floor staff keep wine filled and courses timed, right down to the hazelnut tiramisu at the finish.
