About Music Room

Step into an intimate hi-fi sanctuary wrapped in perforated wood, where crate-digging selectors spin wax on Level 1. Melburnians treat this sound lounge like being inside a speaker—warm, deliberate, and built for serious listening without blowing out your eardrums. Early on, it is a moody hideaway for couples sipping chilled martinis and Negronis on plush sofas. Later in the evening, the energy lifts and people start moving by the decks. Walk-ins only, with a softly lit collection of thousands of records lining the bar.

  • All-Vinyl Library: Selectors spin straight from an extensive record collection behind the bar, keeping the sound warm and transitions smooth.
  • Acoustic Wood Capsule: Perforated timber across the walls and ceiling creates immersive sound tuned so you can still hold a conversation.
  • Lounge to Dance Floor: Shifts naturally from relaxed early-evening cocktails on plush sofas to late-night dancing by the DJ console.
