Sushi Ten runs like a straightforward Tokyo shokudo on Rathdowne Street, turning out generous sashimi bowls and katsudon cooked to order. Run entirely by a husband-and-wife duo, the dining room trades sleek polish for casual banter and steaming bowls of miso soup. Regulars lean into the spicy mixed don piled high with raw fish, or crunch into hot chicken karaage fresh from the fryer. It is strictly cash-only, and drinks come courtesy of the bottle shop next door for a $1 corkage fee.
