Tucked along the Princes Highway, this Victorian-era cottage offers regional road-trippers a tranquil tea break with scratch-baked scones. Road-weary travelers pull off the tarmac to settle beneath leafy garden trees or pull up a chair inside by the open fireplace. The kitchen turns out comforting fare—piping hot soups, hefty beef pies, and traditional high tea towers stacked with fresh sandwiches and cakes. Between bites of warm scones slathered with jam and cream, expect a quiet visit from Snowpea, the resident cat strolling across the wide veranda.
