Farmers Arms Hotel Beeac

The menu is extensive, definitely not your run of the mill ‘pub style menu’ and I can honestly say “you’d be hard pressed to find this quality of food at high end restaurants in Melbourne.

Traditional country pub - nothing fancy, no blaring tvs on the wall, just really fantastic food, cosy firebox, friendly service and generous meals.

We found the Host’s and staff to be extremely helpful and friendly, and the table service was exceptionally good.

We came after the kitchen had closed but they offered to still cook our meals for us and Parmas were unreal! Older lady greeted us when we got in and took us to our table

With a local recommendation fresh in our minds, we simply had to plan our day around having our evening meal at the Farmers Arms! Our day was most enjoyable: exploring first Colac's Botanic Gardens, then heading to Lake Corangamite shore reserve and the Red Rock volcanic lookout, before meandering northward to Cressy on minor roads passing many salt lakes. From Cressy it was a quick trip on the highway to Beeac, where we enjoyed a superb early evening meal

Great old pub with a fantastic menu and the food… just amazing! Do yourself a favour, plan a day trip drive to a cute old town, you won’t be disappointed.
