About Koflers Hutte

Perched mid-mountain on Mount Buller, this ski-in hut offers hot carb-dense sustenance and gear-drying warmth right off the trails. Hang damp jackets near the roaring fireplace, grab a table, and recharge on steaming plates of lasagna or spaghetti Bolognese. Regulars make a ritual of the sweets—ordering hot jam donuts straight from the kitchen or tackling an Apricot Mogul with extra whipped cream before clicking back into their bindings.

  • Direct Slope Access: Direct mid-mountain ski-in location off Southside trails and lifts, cutting out trips down to the base village.
  • Gear-Drying Fireplace: An open fireplace flanked by jacket hangers lets you dry damp gear while having lunch.
  • Signature Mountain Sweets: Made-to-order hot jam donuts and the signature Apricot Mogul loaded with cream.

Why Skiers Choose Koflers Hutte

Why skiers and snowboarders make this summit hut their go-to mid-mountain refuel stop

  • Fast Mid-Slope Mountain Fuel

Directly positioned on the slopes so skiers can grab hearty hot dishes like pasta and refuel without losing skiing time.

Kofflers makes tasty food in an easy to access location. It's not going to be the best spag Bol you've ever had but it's going to taste good and get you out skiing again

  • Signature Alpine Pastries & Desserts

Long-standing hut specialties like warm Apricot Moguls and jam donuts provide instant carbohydrate replenishment on the slopes.

I have been skiing for nearly 40 years. When ever I ski the Mt Buller and need a break I head for Kofflers for a world renowned Apricot Mogul with lashings of cream. A belly full of carbs to fuel the legs for a hard day on the sloops.

  • Restorative Relief from the Cold

A comforting stopover where skiers warm up and recharge during freezing conditions with hot drinks and hearty food.

Always good to come in from the cold and enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee and some of that fantastic food.
