About Merrijig Kitchen

Housed in a 200-year-old historic inn, Merrijig Kitchen serves an intimate, daily-changing dinner celebrating homegrown garden produce and regional catches. Guests head straight for tables by the open fireplace or grab seats along the snug bar room. The kitchen shapes each night around market-fresh availability—sending out warm rosemary focaccia, octopus, and eye fillet accompanied by duck fat potatoes, paired alongside Victorian cool-climate wines. The meal winds down unhurriedly over dark chocolate mousse cracked with honeycomb.
