Footscray’s legendary Franco Cozzo building now houses an expansive, three-level Western saloon packed with honky-tonk energy, craft beer taps, and arcade games. At the heart of the ground floor sits an interactive mechanical bull—free to ride once you sign the waiver—drawing crowds of spectators between rounds of drinks. Upstairs, the cavernous venue shifts gears with a live band room, pool tables, and an open-air rooftop bar poured for sunny afternoons. Regulars lean into the theme with cold schooners of house sours, loaded chilli cheese fries, and smoky corn ribs hot from the kitchen.

    Large group of 15+ and all meals were amazing and came out together. Drinks a bit pricey, but the atmosphere was great, a real honey tone vibe. Staff accommodated birthday cake and allowed the bull to stop so the entire place could sing happy birthday.

    We hosted an event at Moon Dog for 80 people in the Pianola Bar and it worked out really well. The room fit everyone comfortably, with extra space for a small dessert table and some signage.
