About The Stables

Set directly across from the Malmsbury Botanic Gardens, The Stables pairs wood-fired pizza and hearty Greek staples with lively country warmth. Broad picture windows capture views of the greenery and lake, while the stone oven anchors the room. Day-trippers and regulars flock in for honey-drizzled saganaki, crisp-crusted Arab Galette pizzas, and moussaka served alongside local wines. Host Kosta frequently works the floor with stories and song, lending the dining room an effortless, family-run rhythm. Meals settle easily over slices of house-made baklava or warm custard galaktoboureko.
