About The Winery Kitchen

Just off the Hume, this regional vineyard kitchen serves wood-fired pizzas and scratch-made pasta that easily hold their own against Melbourne standards. Diners praise the blistered crusts and rich fillings—from hot honey salami to pork sausage macaroni cooked properly al dente. Outdoor tables sit beneath leafy vine canopies, while the fireside dining room accommodates road-trippers and long lunches. Gluten-free diners are well looked after with scratch-made pizza dough and dedicated pasta options. On Sunday nights, the kitchen runs a clever no-waste menu, turning weekend surplus and open bottles into discounted seasonal dishes.

  • Sunday No-Waste Menu: Surplus weekend produce and open bottles become creative, discounted seasonal plates before midweek closure.
  • Scratch Gluten-Free Options: Gluten-free diners can count on in-house scratch-made pizza crusts and pasta dishes.
  • Vineyard Canopy & Fireplace: Dine outdoors under grapevine leaves or indoors by the fireplace just off the Hume Highway.
