Deceptively narrow from the footpath, this Victoria Street haunt unfurls into an atmospheric labyrinth of moody booths, upstairs nooks, and a leafy back beer garden. Regulars make a beeline here for unhurried evenings, soundtracked by early 90s alternative cuts over the hi-fi. Behind the timber bar, staff stir martinis with patience, customize whiskey sours on request, and pour expressive, lesser-seen wines alongside rotating local craft taps. There is no kitchen on-site—and that is the draw. Claim a corner, order takeaway momos from the Nepalese spot next door or phone in delivery, and settle in with a cold pint.
