About Butcher & Vine Hampton

Butcher & Vine gives Bayside diners lineage-focused cuts cooked with butcher-grade precision. Skip the downtown trek—order the wet-aged Galloway eye fillet or a Shorthorn scotch fillet, paired with a bold Cabernet Sauvignon. Tables stay lively with generous platters of pork ribs and wagyu sausage, while the tucked-away back bar offers its own dedicated menu and tap beers for relaxed drop-ins. Dinner winds down over warm saganaki and rich peppercorn jus.

  • Lineage-Specific Steaks: Wet-aged Galloway beef, Shorthorn scotch fillet, and Kajima Wagyu showcase distinct cattle lineages and dry-aged profiles.
  • Dedicated Back Bar: A separate rear lounge features generous seating and its own distinct bar menu away from the main dining room.

  • Dedicated Rear Bar with Standalone Menu

A dedicated bar at the rear features its own dedicated menu and plenty of seats, offering a distinct enclave away from the main front dining room.

Furthermore there was a bar out the back that had its own bar menu, unfortunately I didn't get a chance to look at the menu but the bar itself had plenty of room with a generous amount of seats.

Before you head over

Practical advice on ordering cuts, selecting seating, and timing your meal.

  • Plan Sides and Sauces with Your Steak

Steaks arrive on their own without included accompaniments, so plan to add vegetable sides, mash, or fries and select your sauces separately when putting together your order.

  • Request Rear Dining for a Quieter Meal

If you prefer a quieter, lower-noise dinner away from street traffic and front entrance activity, consider reserving a table towards the back of the dining room.

  • Pace Entrées and Mains for Group Dinners

If you are dining as a group, allow time for pacing between starters and main courses, as made-to-order platters and steaks may involve a short wait between courses.
