    Lots of coriander, lots of leek and deliciously soft braised beef. Quite fatty - yes, but this just makes this soup even more homely. I went with the triangular noodle option - something that a few of the other Lanzhou restaurants don’t offer and the shape and texture of the noodle was perfect.

    I had the pickled cabbage beef noodle soup (spicy) with thin noodles and it was delicious. Heaps of meat as well and very filling. The broth was rich and flavourful but not overpowering

    I like that there are four styles of noodle, from thinnest to widest. I chose the thinnest with Spicy Pork Mince that came with julienned cucumber, bean shoots and whole peanuts. I like a mild spiciness and this was well within my hotness tolerance limits.
